It’s also called hot or chili. It is perfect spice for salads, meat and fish dishes and of course for our canned vegetables. Product contains big quantity of vitamins A and C. This vegetable comes from South Africa, it came to Ukraine from Spain in the XVIth century.

At making canned vegetavles we use only young, soft bright green horseradish leaves. Together with fennel they give traditional bright flavour to the vegetables. Moreover, horseradish leaves make canned vegetables firm. 

This is one of the most popular spices in Ukraine, it’s strong flavour exhilarates mind and body and also improves appetite. In most cases not depending on the dish recipe, the more fennel is used the better dish we get. This is not only about taste, the fact is fennel contains a lot of vitamins and minerals, cleans organism, helps at insomnia, hypertony and helps men about potency problems.
